gordian knot

Gordian Knot is a publication that features the eccentric intellectualism of University of Chicago students. The writings, images, ideas, problems, and puzzles that have repeatedly
defined and redefined the goals and ideals of the magazine (and now, blog!) over the past four years come from those who embrace the challenges of the world –- large and
small -– with beautiful innovation. The godian knot blog will share posts about revolutionary ideas, creativity, technology, and communities that express inspirational innovation.
All submissions and suggestions are welcome.

Weather I Can Believe In

Sky Totem

Soo-in Yang and David Benjamin of New York’s The Living have completed an interesting—and extremely beautiful—public project in Seoul, Korea. Called Living Light, it’s a permanent pavilion and glass canopy that registers and communicates air quality in the city.

“Our project aims to combine real-time data about the environment with dynamic lighting to create an interactive facade of the future,” the architects write.
